Assistant Head of Sixth Form, Abbot Beyne School

Dr Bethany Marsh completed her PhD at the University of Nottingham, where she specialised in researching refugees of the British and Irish Civil Wars (1641-1651). She completed a doctoral placement at the National Civil War Centre, Newark-upon-Trent, where she worked on the “The World Turned Upside Down” and “Fake News” exhibitions. In 2019 she was awarded the Roy Foster Irish Government Senior Scholarship at the University of Oxford. Dr Marsh is currently an Assistant Head of Sixth Form at a Secondary School in Burton-on-Trent.
