Edward Davis is a History teacher at a prep school in Cambridgeshire, where he has taught for the past 25 years. He has always loved History and his interest in the English Civil War was prompted when he studied the subject at A Level. Later, he studied History at university, gaining a BA from Birkbeck College, University of London, and an MA from St Mary’s University, Strawberry Hill. His first book, Cromwell’s Nemesis: The Life of Edward Montagu, 2nd Earl of Manchester 1602-1671 (2 volumes), has recently been published by Partizan Press.
