Waseem is an advanced PhD student at UCL writing a thesis on loyalty and popular politics in 1650s England and a teaching assistant at UCL and KCL. He holds a BA and MA from University of Birmingham and has had a research fellowship at LMU Munich. He is co-editing a volume entitled Christopher Hill and the English Revolution, under contract with Boydell and Brewer, which includes his chapter ‘Loyalty, radicals and the English Republics.’ He is also co-editing a volume on Forging Solidarity under Racial Capitalism under contract with UCL Press. He has written a number of short pieces and reviews for scholarly journals and more public facing outlets including contributions to a volume on civil war objects, an article on the politics of Tony Benn and reviews for various academic monographs on the English Revolution. He has various articles that are slowly coming to fruition relating to informing practices, apology writings, and Left traditions.
